The Corbel Converter℠ uses a countertop support angle, a mounting plate and a mating sleeve to create a wooden corbel mounting solution. This solution improves the traditional corbel mounting process by
1. Allowing for mounting of wooden corbels from the exterior of cabinets, eliminating the need for climbing under counters and into cabinets to mount corbels
2. Eliminating the deficient keyhole mounting nature of wooden corbels, making conversion of corbels possible without removal of counters or destruction of cabinet fascia.
3. Providing needed support to countertop overhangs that is not provided by decorative wooden corbels.
4. Giving flexibility in decorating by adding interchangeable aspect to wooden corbel accents.
