Elias Woodwork manufactures Rigid Thermofoil doors, moldings and accessories which are available in a vast array of colors ranging from classic white to realistic wood grain to abstract prints.
Rigid Thermofoil (RTF) is a very durable, low-maintenance material made to look like real wood, painted surfaces and more. It is a process that uses heat, adhesive and pressure to bond a thin (8 to 16 mil) Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) film to a substrate, typically medium density fiberboard (MDF). Since the film is so thin, it can bond to very intricate shapes. This allows for the creation of doors and drawer fronts with raised panels, routed edges and other designs that can’t be done with solid laminate.
