Located in Canton, Ohio USA, Ironrock continues a longstanding tradition of stewardship in its use of local natural resources, manufacturing facility standards, and product offerings impact. Ironrock continues to seek ways to improve use and re-use of materials that go into their products. Ironrock uses only locally mined clay and shale in the make up of their tile and thin brick products.

In an effort to use less virgin material, Ironrock has also implemented a recycling effort that has seen the re-processing of waste goods into pre-consumer recycled material used in a number of their products. Through this effort Ironrock has introduced two quarry tile products, DuraQuarry™ and EnviroQuarry® developed solely for the purpose of reuse of this waste material. From 2009 to 2010, the sale of these products has grown nearly 56%.
