Uni-form is the slimmest yet of ABBAKA's low profile designs for professional cooking equipment. The hood’s canopy is a mere 6” tall. Yet in that small space, the hood packs the wallop of 1400 CFM (cubic foot per minute) exhaust capacity via ABBAKA’s ultra quiet Hy-Ex Remote or Attic (in-line) ventilator. Ventilator motors are offered in 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 CFM power options. Combined with the in-hood commercial baffle filter system, Uni-Form can handle the demands of the largest restaurant-style range. Motors are regulated by a variable speed control that allows the chef to dial in the exact power needed for the meal being prepared.

Mini PAR-16 halogen lamps provide the task lighting needed to illuminate the cooktop or range below the hood. The lighting banks are controlled by a solid state dimmer switch so intensity can be adjusted from full On to a low glow for mood lighting to full Off.

The hood’s unique adjustable suspension rods stabilize the ceiling attachment as well as allow the expanse of the hood to be leveled. The hood is available in both wall mount and island design (as shown) in standard sizes from 42” to 78” wide.
Typically built of stainless steel, the hood is offered in a silk-brushed satin or mirror polished finish.
