Josef Ruefelli was one of the two brothers from Switzerland who founded Colonial Bronze in 1927. Josef was raised in Switzerland just breath from Italy's Lake Como. This Swiss, Italian combination birthed his passion for detail and design. Josef’s passion drives us to carefully design and craft each product in his namesake collection.

The Josef Ruefelli definitive products are created by the combination of computer-assisted design, state of the art CNC machines and the talent of our crafts people’s hand finishing.
