This Made in the U.S.A. mantel bracket is designed for optimal support & complete invisibility behind a wood beam or box style mantel. The support arm of our Floating Mantel Bracket is a sturdy 3/4" steel rod which extends out from the mounting plate by 8". The mantel support rod is thoroughly welded to a 1/4" thick mounting plate for fixing the mantel bracket to studs.
